As the onstage rivalry between Citrus’ Blue Note Orchestra and APU’s Jazz Ensemble enters its eighth round, the only clear winner is the audience!  Actually, bandleaders Robert Slack and Dave Beatty are good friends, and their passion to inspire and present musical excellence has resulted in national prominence for the on-stage student competitors.
