Since Randy Sparks founded The New Christy Minstrels, in the early sixties, the infectious Christy sound has brought folk music to mainstream audiences. Alumni from the ever-changing group include Kenny Rogers and Christine Andreas. Now performing with seven of the original members including founder Randy Sparks and Barry McGuire, among others, their hits include This Land Is Your Land, Today, and Green Green.
